UK Grove dealer lands service award for RT delivery

12/8/2017

  • Crowland Cranes, sister company of Grove dealer Universal Cranes, receives award from UK maritime charity Trinity House.
  • Company is recognised for its support in delivering a Grove RT765E-2 supplied by Universal Cranes.

Crowland Cranes, which provides service support to UK Grove rough-terrain crane dealer Universal Cranes, has been recognized for its outstanding service in the delivery of a Grove RT765E-2. The company received its award at a special ceremony in London from UK maritime charity Trinity House, which purchased the crane to support its operations in the port town of Harwich.

In addition to working closely with sister company Universal Cranes during the sale of the machine to Trinity House, Crowland Cranes also equipped it with a special navigation buoy carrier, allowing buoys to be easily and quickly moved around the port. Andy Cahill, sales manager at Crowland Cranes, said his company was delighted to receive the award.

“We pride ourselves on the service we provide to customers, so it’s particularly pleasing to be recognized by Trinity House,” he said. “It’s always a pleasure to work with the organization and I’m sure the RT765E-2 will prove a real success.”

The RT765E-2 is a 60 t capacity crane with a 33.5 m main boom and a 17.1 m bi-fold swing away lattice jib.
