Manitowoc is introducing several new cranes at Intermat 2009, and also unveiling an industry-leading fleet management product, CraneSTAR. Manitowoc is located at stand E6 BO60 at the show that runs April 20 through 25 at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in Paris, France.

Manitowoc’s central theme at this year’s show is lowering lifecycle costs through innovative products.

Philippe Cohet, executive vice president for Manitowoc in EMEA, said the new cranes and products at the show offer tangible benefits to crane users.

“Manitowoc is featuring new cranes from both of our Grove and Potain product lines at Intermat 2009, and we are excited to be launching CraneSTAR at this event,” he said. “We are ready to show visitors how Manitowoc innovation and investment means lower lifecycle costs. By designing cranes that are suited to specific markets and tools to measure each crane’s efficiency, we can ensure our customers get the most from their Manitowoc products. ”

Among the cranes on the Manitowoc stand are:

  • Potain Igo 30
  • Potain Igo T 85
  • Potain MDT 368 (new)
  • Grove GSK55 (new)
  • Grove GCK3045 (new)
  • Grove TMC540 (new)
  • Grove RT540
  • Grove GMK5095

CraneSTAR will be one of the major attractions at the Manitowoc booth, with visitors able to see live demos of the system in action. The tool is more comprehensive than anything the industry has previously seen, giving end users more control of their cranes through better fleet management. CraneSTAR also includes a number of notable differentiators that will set it apart from other systems on the market.

In addition to the new cranes and products, Manitowoc will also have information and personnel from its customer service division, Manitowoc Crane Care, as well as from Manitowoc Finance.
