Bob Hund named EVP of Manitowoc Crane Care

Effective immediately, Bob Hund has been promoted to executive vice president of Manitowoc Crane Care, Manitowoc’s customer service division. He will retain his current responsibilities of leading Manitowoc’s worldwide marketing and project management teams and will continue to report directly to Eric Etchart.
Etchart, president and general manager of Manitowoc Cranes, says Hund’s extensive experience in the construction equipment field has prepared him for these new responsibilities.
“Bob has held a variety of product support, marketing, engineering and manufacturing leadership roles in the construction equipment industry for the past 22 years,” he said. “His extended assignments in Asia, Europe and North America have further prepared him to take on this global leadership position.”
Hund replaces Larry Bryce, who is moving into a leadership position at Manitowoc Foodservice, a sister company to Manitowoc Cranes.
Hund says that he is excited to be at the helm of a division which represents a true competitive advantage for Manitowoc Cranes.
“I am very happy to take on this role within Manitowoc Crane Care,” he said. “Providing 24/7 technical support to our customers around the globe is not just a slogan for us. Under the leadership of Larry Bryce, Manitowoc Crane Care has become the most extensive customer support network in the lifting industry, and I am proud to be a part of it.”
