New SVP Operations Team for MCG

Chuck Mogged: Senior Vise President of Operations America's region.
Manitowoc Crane Group has announced three new regional senior vice president appointments in a move designed to further strengthen the company’s market-leading position in the lifting industry. The appointments are in line with the company’s strategy of continuing to focus on operational excellence and innovation for its global manufacturing bases. The new senior vice presidents of operations are: Chuck Mogged, who will be responsible for The Americas; Denis François, who will be responsible for Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and Derek Oh, who will manage operations in Asia-Pacific. Each of the new SVPs will report directly to their regional executive vice president: John Wheeler for The Americas; Philippe Cohet for EMEA; and Eric Etchart for Asia-Pacific. Glen Tellock, president and general manager at Manitowoc Crane Group, said the new appointments sent a clear signal to the market. “As we’ve grown and developed as a true ‘Crane Group’ over these past three years we’ve recognized the need to ensure we maintain our high standards of operational excellence and innovation. We’re building more cranes than ever and developing more new models than ever as the industry continues to respond positively to our business. Now we need to make sure we stay at the very top of our game by leading the way in terms of manufacturing operations in the lifting industry, and that’s exactly what Chuck Denis and Derek – and their teams – will be doing.” The three new SVPs will head up MCG’s Global Engineering and Manufacturing Committee with each bringing over 25 years experience from a wide variety of manufacturing positions and locations.
